Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter (BCCS), a 50-bed emergency homeless shelter located in Falls Church, Va., provides single adults with safe emergency shelter and the support necessary to create a path toward permanent housing. NVFS has operated this shelter since 2015, including oversight of Fairfax County’s Region 2 Hypothermia Program. Through this program, which runs from Nov. 1 – March 31, every person who needs shelter is brought in to avoid the dangers of harsh winter weather

Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), in partnership with Fairfax County’s Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH), local faith and civic communities, and volunteers, coordinates the county’s Hypothermia Prevention Program for Region 2 from November 1 to March 31.
The Residential Program Center (RPC) provides three crucial services – non-medical detoxification, substance abuse recovery and housing services for single adults experiencing homelessness.
