Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding

Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 1996 offering individualized equine assisted activities and therapies. The mission of Circle of Hope is to enhance opportunities for independence for individuals with physical, mental, emotional and developmental disabilities.  The program utilizes the recognized value of equine assisted activities and therapies to augment traditional therapies.

Through special individualized instruction in horseback riding and horsemanship skills, participants learn mental and psychological control, balance and coordination.  The Circle of Hope approach incorporates cognitive, behavioral, psychological and physical goals to increase self-confidence and self-esteem, independence and social awareness. Circle of Hope is a Premier Accredited Member Center of PATH, (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), the only national certifying organization for equine assisted activities and therapies programming.
