The mission of the Regional Services Centers is to represent the County in their respective regions by providing effective, timely liaison between Montgomery County and its residents and businesses and by working with individuals, community groups, regional Citizens’ Advisory Boards, and other public agencies to provide information, identify and assess regional problems and issues, and recommend and/or implement solutions.
The East County Regional Service Center includes Burtonsville, Colesville, Cloverly, Fairland, and White Oak Communities.

The Center’s service area includes Gaithersburg, Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Goshen, Laytonsville, Derwood, North Potomac, Darnestown, Boyds, Montgomery Village, Barnesville, Dickerson, Poolesville, Washington Grove, Beallsville, Hyattstown and Tobytown.
The Montgomery County Interagency Commission on Homelessness has created a comprehensive resource guide for local homeless services. The entry point for homeless services is one of the three Regional Service Centers in the County.
