Sound the Alarm Home Fire Prevention – Volunteer Opportunity
The American Red Cross will be holding Sound the Alarm Home Fire Prevention Campaign events in 3 locations in Prince Georges County and in Brightwood Park in DC in September and October 2017. In partnership with local fire departments, they are hoping to mobilize partners, volunteers, staff and community members/leaders to install nearly 2,000 smoke alarms. They are seeking volunteers to come out and join in this important effort.

Saturday, September 23
Oxon Hill, MD – 8 am – 4 pm
Bladensburg, MD – 8 am – 4 pm
Mount Rainier, MD – 8 am – 4 pm
Saturday, October 7
Brightwood Park, Washington, D.C. – 8:30 am – 4 pm
