VA Expands Caregiver Stipend to Cover Eligible Vietnam, Korea and World War II Veterans
On October 1, 2020, the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers expanded the benefits to the family caregivers of Vietnam, Korea, and World War II veterans. They can qualify to get paid for their help and have access to caregiver training, mental health services and counseling, and more.

Buying a house or understanding your VA Home Buying Loan benefits can be challenging, so they've brought in the experts to assist. This workshop is open to Active Duty, military spouses, National Guard, Reservists, and recently separated veterans. Those that attend will learn about their VA Home Loan eligibility requirements and understand the lifespan of the VA Home Loan. The workshop will include a step-by-step process of buying a home, from finding the right house, to financing, closing and more!

On Saturday, November 2nd Prince George's County will hold a Veterans Stand Down and Homeless Resource Day event. This event is intended for Prince George's County Veterans and persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The event will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Wayne K. Curry Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, MD.
