One-Day Free Veterans Legal and Benefits Clinic
The Steven A Cohen Military Family Clinic and the Veterans Consortium ProBono Program are offering a free one day veterans legal clinic on Wednesday, November 28th from 10AM to 6PM. Talk to an attorney for free on a variety of issues to include Veteran Benefits, Disability/Benefits Claims and Landlord/Tenant Law. Appointments are required.
VA Claims Clinic in Frederick
There will be a VA Claims Clinic on October 5th from 9AM to 3PM at the Francis Scott Key Post 11 American Legion in Frederick, MD. Come out to a Town Hall meeting with Baltimore Regional Office Leadership from 11:00am - 12:00pm followed by an Appeals 101 Presentation from 1:00-2:00 PM. VA Claims Processors will be on site throughout the day to assist in filing a claim.

Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run
The 9/11 Heroes Run activates and unites communities to honor the sacrifices of those heroes from September 11th and the wars since, to include veterans, active duty, first responder, and families of the fallen. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K +1M* fun run/walk welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and of all ages, volunteers, friends, and family. It is not about fitness level or experience but about activating, uniting, and honoring our heroes. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2pm in Annapolis, MD. Registration is required.

Project Homeless Connect September 20th
Project Homeless Connect (PHC) brings together essential services at the area’s largest resource fair to meet the needs of our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. By eliminating barriers that keep them from breaking free of the cycle of homelessness, they’re winning. United Way NCA brings together local service providers from medical, to housing, to employment and much more – serving nearly 1100 PHC participants to date. 9am-5pm DC Armory 2010 E. Welcome Home, Veterans Benefits Fair will be held Saturday, July 28th from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
