Startup Standup Pitch Competition and Variety Show – Sept 10
Capitol Post is hosting their third Startup Standup event on Mon, Sept 10th at 5:30 PM at MetroStage in North Old Town, Alexandria. The companies from Capitol Post's Startup School Summer 2018 cohort will pitch to a panel of esteemed judges to win a $3,500 cash prize AND to keep everyone on their toes, they’ll infuse performances from veteran vocal performers in between the pitches.

The American Legion Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 invites you to DC's monthly Startup Open Mic Night event for an exciting night of networking and pitching! This event is not your typical meet and greet. To pitch you don’t have to be an American Legion member, you just need to be a startup and/or investor with the passion to give your elevator pitch for 90 seconds in front of a group of angel investors, venture capitalists, startup-focused service based providers, mentors, and a large community of other successful entrepreneurs.

HUD 2018 SDVOSB Vendor Outreach Event – Jun 21
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) are co-sponsoring a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Vendor Outreach Event at the HUD Headquarters Building in Washington, DC. The outreach event will provide businesses, both new and experienced, access to information on the laws, rules, and regulations that govern the SDVOSB Program.
