Affordable Family Fun and Fundraiser for Horses Help Heroes in Prince George’s County

Horses Help Heroes and Great Escape Stables will be holding an affordable family fun event and fundraiser on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 17620 Central Avenue in Bowie, MD. You and your family are invited to enjoy pony rides, arts and crafts, grooming, and treats for the horses. The gracious hosts are requesting a modest donation of $10/child of non-military or veteran families and $5/child of military and veteran families.

Bunker Labs and WeWork are accepting applications for the next cohort of WeWork Veterans in Residence Powered by Bunker Labs, starting March 1st! WeWork Veterans in Residence powered by Bunker Labs, in its second national tribe and third overall, is now in 15 cities across the U.S. Veterans and military family members should apply to their nearest participating city. Applications are now open until January 3, 2019. Their next national tribe will launch in March 2019.

Boots to Business Reboot Classes in Frederick Dec 12th & 13th

This two-day in-person course is being offered in Frederick MD on December 12 & 13. This Boots to Business Reboot course is focused on Agribusiness and provides participants with an overview of business fundamentals, while introducing techniques for evaluating the feasibility of business concepts. Reboot is open to all members of the military community (this includes all-era Veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve, and military spouses and family members).
