Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) is a national nonprofit that supports the military community of all branches of currently serving military including the Guard and Reserve, veterans of all eras, families of those killed in action and caregivers of VetTixers. Vet Tix provides free event tickets with a nominal delivery fee to attend sporting events, concerts, performing arts and family activities.

Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run
The 9/11 Heroes Run activates and unites communities to honor the sacrifices of those heroes from September 11th and the wars since, to include veterans, active duty, first responder, and families of the fallen. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K +1M* fun run/walk welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and of all ages, volunteers, friends, and family. It is not about fitness level or experience but about activating, uniting, and honoring our heroes. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2pm in Annapolis, MD. Registration is required.

DC VA Mental Health Summit – Register Today!
The Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center will hold its Mental Health Summit 2018 on Tuesday, September 18 at 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The summit will be hosted by the DC Mayor's Office of Veteran Affairs and held at the Old Council Chambers (near the Judiciary Square Metro Station), 441 4th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. This year’s theme is “Healing Trauma: A Unified Front”. The summit is being held to bring together key stakeholders, veterans and community partners to enhance access to mental health services as well as address the mental health needs of Veterans and their family members residing in DC, MD and VA. This is a free event. Space is limited and registration is required.
