Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services is offering FREE Reeve-RxRelax Adaptive Yoga Classes on Tuesdays in July, August and September from 6:00-7:00 pm. at Little River Glen Senior Center, 4001 Barker Court, Fairfax, VA. Yoga and mindfulness can be helpful for over 100 physical and mental health conditions. This seated yoga class is designed for people with mobility concerns, people with multiple health conditions and their caregivers. No prior experience, special clothing or equipment is required. Surf Dog Ricochet and Staff Sergeant Persons B. Griffith IV (Ret) will be traveling from San Diego, CA to Washington DC, MD and VA for June 22nd and 23rd showings of the IMAX film, Superpower Dogs, as well as a free presentation on the “Healing Power of Dogs in the Treatment of PTSD”. There will also be a free showing for the military community and their families. Regular showings requiring paid tickets are an option too.
