Registration is now open for the Quantico 100 on Saturday, April 29 at 5:30 pm. Registration fee is $35 per individual, but offering a special $18 rate for active duty military members.

Governor McAuliffe cuts ribbon on new Veterans Benefits office in Springfield

Governor Terry McAuliffe celebrated the opening of the new Virginia Department of Veterans Services (VDVS) Benefits office in Springfield during a ceremonial ribbon cutting. The ceremony was attended by a diverse group that included state representatives, Supervisor Pat Herrity of the Springfield District of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, veterans, active duty military service members, and community leaders.

Registration is now open. 60 to 60 is a 60-mile hike/ruck also known as a mission to honor our fallen and empower those still coming home wearing the wounds of war. More then an event - Every step will remind you of why you are there as you focus on Honoring, Empowering and Remembering our War fighters both past and present. Open to both Civilians and Veterans - this mission will cement a level of camaraderie so deep you will create friendships that will last a life time.
