For wounded veterans post 9-11, CATCH A LIFT will pay for yearly gym memberships. If the wounded veteran’s injury requires assistance, they may choose a “buddy” to assist them at the gym and the “buddy’s” yearly membership will be paid for as well. CATCH A LIFT will also provide in-home gym equipment, if the vet is unable to attend a gym.
Any wounded or injured veteran, service member, that has been honorably discharged or retired military personnel that has served in the Iraq or Afghanistan Wars can apply. Wounded veterans from all service branches are eligible.
A copy of your discharge papers and the VA % disability/description award letter is required and MUST be submitted along with the application. All decisions regarding gifted memberships are made following the CATCH A LIFT board’s careful consideration of the request and the level of funds available at the time of application.
