The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2016 golf outing at Laurel Hill Golf Club inviting all golfers and businesses to "Get Teed Off" for veterans.

Curation Program Hiring Veterans

The Veterans Curation Program is hiring post-9/11 veterans for the next session beginning in November. The VCP is a paid, five month program offering part- and full-time positions. Veterans will learn competitive skills such as database management, Microsoft Office, technical writing, and records management, while processing archaeological collections from the US Army Corps of Engineers.

A program of Virginia State Parks, the Virginia Service and Conservation Corps Veterans Crews places veterans in crews to serve on special park projects throughout the Commonwealth.

Dog Tag Bakery Fellowship Program

The Dog Tag Inc. Fellowship works in partnership with Georgetown University to create a professional development program designed to prepare military veterans with service connected disabilities, spouses and caregivers to find success as they transition into the civilian workforce. Pilot Program for Service Dog Care
