Department of Veteran Affairs Washington, D.C. Community Resource and Referral Center will host a Christmas Dinner for Veterans on Saturday, December 23  from 1 - 4 pm at 1500 Franklin St., NE, in the District.      

Warrior Herd: Couples Workshop – Jan 13

Project Horse Empowerment Center in Purcellville, VA will be hosting a Warrior Herd Couples Workshop on Saturday, January 13 from 1 - 3 pm. Warrior Herd™ is comprised of 12 monthly wellness groups to support and enhance the interpersonal relationships between veterans and members of their families. Applications have now opened for Warrior Herd™. Applications due by January 1st.

Fort Belvoir Sports and Fitness will host a Health and Fitness Expo to provide an overall health assessment experience and knowledge of wellness opportunities on Fort Belvoir and in the community. Veterans Fellowship at Washington National Cathedral

Friday and Saturday, February 2-3, 2018. The event will feature the Rev. Dr. David W. Peters, founder of the Episcopal Veterans Fellowship and author of "Post Traumatic God: How the Church Cares for People Who Have Been to Hell and Back."

Mental Health First Aid Military and Veteran Module: January 9th

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals and Serving Together, a program of EveryMind, will be hosting an 8 hour Adult Mental Health First Aid training program with a focus on assisting military service members, veterans and their families. The workshop is FREE for military, veterans, their families and those who work or support them. Space is limited and registration is required.
