Fall Fitness Festival

Join The Fitness Equation for the first annual  Fall Fitness Festival Charity Event Benefiting Headstrong: Healing the Hidden Wounds of War. Saturday, September 28th, 10am - 2pm at 43360 Defender Drive, Chantilly VA. TFE South Riding, will open its doors to the public for a FREE Day For All! There will be fitness classes going on every half hour outside and inside the gym from Bootcamp, Zumba, Yoga and more! Many contests will take place like Strong Man, Ninja Warrior, Tug of War and a basketball free throw contest! There will be live music and a Kid’s Zone with Bounce Houses, Touch-a-Truck, glitter tattoos, craft centers and more! Join the fun for a wonderful cause.

Veteran Peer Support Group

Veteran Peer Support Groups are facilitated by veterans and designed to address the needs of Veterans, National Guard and Reservists by providing a relaxed and confidential environment to share post military and transitional experiences with other veterans. Hosted by the Virginia Veteran and Family Support. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month beginning on October 1, 2019. 6:00-8:00 PM in Ashburn, VA.

Bunker Brews App Development Event

Tuesday, October 1st from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM EDT in Washington DC. Bring an app idea to life using Keynote for iPad. You’ll sketch an app interface and use shapes, text, and linked slides to show how the app functions. By the end of the session, you’ll have a working app prototype. Bring your iPad or one will be provided. The training is recommended for beginners interested in app development, but all are welcome! Registration is requested.

Project Homeless Connect DC Event October 3rd

Sponsored by the United Way of the National Capital Area, Project Homeless Connect puts essential services under one roof at the area’s largest resource fair for those experiencing homelessness. This year's event will take place at the DC Armory on Thursday, October 3rd from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. This is a free event. Transportation from several local DC establishments is available. There will be a specific section featuring services and programs for homeless veterans.

Free Dental Care for Veterans October 5

The dental office of Dr. Kathleen Mullaney will be participating in Freedom Day USA, Saturday, October 5th 8am -4pm. Freedom Day USA is a national movement to offer Veterans a service like dental, optical, car care etc. Dr. Mullaney and her team will be offering free dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings and extractions on Freedom Day USA . Again, these are free services for former and retired military members. Please bring roof of service via a Military ID or DD214. These services will be by appointment only This event is for those Veterans who have no access to care.

BBQ, Veteran-Owned Craft Brews & Music Event

Join Northern Virginia Veterans Association for the most scrumptious Pork BBQ in the region! Along with some of the best Veteran-Owned Craft Brews and live music by Rip Tide this will be an amazing time at American Legion Post 28 in Triangle, Virginia. Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Bring the family to enjoy more than the BBQ and Beer, there will be other fun foods and drink and a kids zone for the younger ones. Veteran vendors will be around to share their services and wares, and with the fantastic weather planned you can't beat this for an awesome Saturday afternoon in October!

USO Pathfinder Employment Workshop
