DC Military-Veteran Advisory Council Virtual Launch
Join the DC Military-Veteran Advisory Council (DCMVAC) as we develop a blueprint to better serve our community members and providers in the region. This free event is open to local government, non-profit groups and other veteran service organizations aimed at improving the lives of veterans and military families. Prepare to bring your concerns, comments, questions, and ideas to strengthen the military/Veteran community in our capital region. This is the first virtual event ahead of an in-person town hall event slated for October 2020.

Military Cultural Competency and Transition Awareness Training Webinar
The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (VDVS) Virginia Veteran and Family Support (VVFS) Program will offer a Military Cultural and Transition Awareness Training Webinar on June 26 from 1-3pm. The webinar is intended to assist state agencies, community partners and behavioral health providers in better understanding, communicating and effectively interacting with military members, veterans, and their families. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required.
