You are cordially invited to join ServingTogether, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, and Community Leaders in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region for Strategy Session #1 How do we Coordinate Service Delivery to our Veterans?A New Community Partnership with AmericaServes
Join EveryMind, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), and community providers serving veterans, service members and their families in DC for the kick-off of the AmericaServes initiative in our community.
A partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) and their AmericaServes program will allow ServingTogether to connect multiple existing county-level veterans collaboratives into one comprehensive network that connects veterans, service members and their families to service providers across the entire National Capital Region. Now working in 13 cities around the country, AmericaServes is a tried-and-tested community of practice aimed at coordinating services and improving outcomes to those who have served.
We envision this comprehensive and collaborative network as providing a great service to organizations that serve any of these populations as well. Connecting individual organizations to a wide network of other service providers will allow them to share information and resources, eliminate duplication of efforts, and connect their clients effectively and efficiently to a wide variety of services to meet their unique needs. Through our partnership with IVMF/AmericaServes, ServingTogether anticipates an exponential increaseof the number of veterans and service members we are able to serve.
