The 5th meeting of the Loudoun County Community Veterans Engagement Board. The meeting is open to any community organization working on behalf of Loudoun County veterans and all Loudoun County individual residents who have an interest in the welfare of Loudoun County veterans, active duty members and their family members.
At the previous meeting on 15 August, those present took several organizational steps to include:
-Establishing a committee to create a set of bylaws for the CVEB
-Identifying by vote an Executive Committee (EXCOM) for the CVEB
-Identifying a logo for the LCCVEB
The EXCOM volunteers who will serve for a one year period are:
-Chair, Jim Mullen, Chapter 20 Military Officers Association of America (MOAA)
-Vice Chair, Ken James, Rivercreek Veterans Association
-Secretary, Christy Kenady, ServingTogether
-Treasurer, Richard Ryan, American Legion Post 2001
