Freer|Sackler Family Day with Hokusai

Blue Star Families invites you to attend a family workshop and tour of the new Hokusai Exhibit at Freer|Sackler! The workshop, The Art of Japanese Fabric Wrapping, will give you the opportunity to make a furoshiki wrapping cloth. Learn how this Japanese tradition can help save money and the environment, then enjoy an educator-led tour of the new Hokusai: Mad about Painting exhibit to discover Japan’s most famous artist. This event is recommended for ages 6 and up with adult companions.

This event is open to active-duty personnel, Guard, Reserves, veterans, wounded warriors, caregivers, EFMP members, and their families.
