Virtual Job Fair is an opportunity for you to connect with Northern Virginia’s employers in a convenient and interactive way via chat rooms, private chats, and video chats. There will be access before the fair to employer information, current postings, and more. Participants need only a computer, tablet, or smartphone and internet access to participate. Webcams, avatars, and photos are NOT required. Interactions between employers and participants will be primarily through text chatting. Employers do have the ability to initiate one-on-one video chats with you. If you are asked to participate in a video chat, you should be dressed as if you were going on an interview. Make that first impression count! For the best experience, participants should log on using an up-to-date version of Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. The license for this service is 100% funded by the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Dislocated Worker Program through the U.S. Department of Labor – Employment and Training Administration, Virginia Community College System, and the Alexandria/Arlington Regional Workforce Council.
