Acting ensemble workshop for U.S. veterans and all who support their service
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Participants will explore Shakespeare’s plays for themes of Rage and Madness and develop personal presentations of the work based on their own experiences. With CSC Teaching Artists, students will focus on awareness of the physical and vocal aspects of theatre and performing as a unit.
This education program workshop is FREE for US veterans. Participants should be men and women, age 20 and over, who are veterans of the United States armed forces. Combat experience not required. Working with CSC Teaching Artists, the ensemble will explore Shakespeare’s text for a specific theme related to their own stories of military service. This multi-week program will culminate in a performance for friends, family, and invited guests. No experience required!
Open to veterans of the United States armed forces age 20 and over.
Dates: Tuesdays 9/10-11/12/2019
Times: 6:30pm-9pm
