Advocacy in Military Psychology Summit

The society for Military Psychology (Div.19 of the APA) and DCPA are sponsoring a two day summit on advocacy and Mil/Psych to be held at The Catholic University of America on Nov.6 &7 2019.

Day one, will include panel presentations focusing upon Suicide prevention, Veteran transitions,Trauma, Moral injury,Leadership and additional topics designed to increase awareness of the vital role psychology plays in the Military.

On Day two multiple community organizations will provide an overview of their work in advocating for Military and veteran issues.

It is our hope that this summit will enhance awareness and increase learning of how we may best serve our active duty military and veterans.

November 6th (7:30-5:00) and November 7th (8:00-3:00) at Catholic University, Washington DC.
