New website offering exclusive military travel discounts – American Forces Travel
Effective Tuesday, 22 January 2019; the Department of Defense has partnered with Priceline and created a website to exclusively serve all DoD employees, retirees, and eligible family members with all of their travel needs at deeply discounted prices.
Open only to the military community, participation is open to all who are eligible to use Moral, Welfare, and Recreation facilities and programs.
First time users, will be required to verify their eligibility with DoD. Required information will be secure and not retained.
Deals will be available to include flights, hotels, car rentals, and cruise brands. This includes over 1 million hotel deals at over 71 thousand destinations. “Package” or Bundled” rates available.
Fees, from each transaction, will be paid to the “Quality of Life” programs for each branch of service.
