ASAP Veteran Open Mic Night

The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) and Dog Tag Bakery are excited to continue with their monthly open mic series for veterans, service members, and military family members. The initiative provides a platform for veteran comedians, musicians, and writers to showcase their talents, express themselves, and have their voices heard in front of members of the local community.

This is an opportunity for the civilian and military world to connect through the arts, dispel stereotypes, and engage in an honest dialogue about the veteran, military, and human experience — all while enjoying delicious treats and baked goods from friends at Dog Tag Bakery. Proceeds will directly support the programming of ASAP and Dog Tag, respectively.

The next open mic will feature military-affiliated writers, poets, and storytellers, and is scheduled for 7PM on Thursday, June 23rd at Dog Tag Bakery (3206 Grace Street Northwest, Washington, DC). General admission is $10, will be limited to the first 55 guests who purchase tickets, and can be reserved at http://juneopenmic.eventbrite.com.
