‘Thank You For Your Service’ Screening Jan 24
A screening of the documentary film, Thank You For Your Service, hosted by Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 227, will be at the Angelika Film Center on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:30pm. Dealing with the mental health issues confronting many returning veterans, this is described as one of the best films of the year.

NBC4 is excited to announce the 24th year of its Health & Fitness Expo, which has become a highly anticipated event each year in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Veteran Curation Program Meet & Greet – Jan 12th
The Veteran Curation Program will be hosting a meet & greet at their Alexandria Laboratory on Thursday, January 12 from 10 am - 2 pm. The Alexandria Veterans Curation Program currently provides vocational rehabilitation and innovative training to twenty–two recently-separated veterans using archaeological collections administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This event will provide you with a chance to meet the veterans and to learn more about the program.
2017 Veteran Collaboratives Dates
Veterans Collaborative meetings, hosted by Serving Together – a program of EveryMind, are held bi-monthly in Montgomery County, Fairfax County and Loudoun County. The Collaboratives are informal meetings where community partners come together to share resources, events, and information.
