The Association for Addiction Professionals launches a 6 part specialty webinar training series focused on addiction treatment in Military & Veteran Culture. The first webinar, Supporting Those Who Served: Substance Use and Comprehensive Mental Health for Military Affiliated Populations takes place on Saturday, 8/24. Participants may attend one or multiple webinars in this series. Those who successfully attend the full webinar series and pass all six CE quizzes for this six-part series will be eligible to apply for the Certificate of Achievement for Addiction Treatment in Military & Veteran Culture. Participants Needed for Non-Drug Clinical Trial for Depression
The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is seeking participants for a new non-drug clinical trial for depression associated with concussive Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The purpose of the clinical trial is to investigate the efficacy and tolerability of rTMS to improve depressive symptoms in service member with a history of concussive TBI.
