Cisco Veteran Cyber Training Program

Cisco in partnership with Onward to Opportunity are offering free online CCNA Cyber Ops and CCNA Security training. Open to Veterans, Transitioning Service members, Guard, Reserves and Spouses. Participants are preferably located in VA or NC. Deadline to apply is Aug 2.

VA Welcome Home Benefits Fair – July 28

Welcome Home, Veterans Benefits Fair will be held Saturday, July 28th from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Join a host of government and community partners who are coming together to offer assistance to Veterans and transitioning service members: Transition and Care Management, Mental Health, Voluntary Service, Vet Centers, VESO, VBA, the Mayor’s Office of Veteran’s Affairs, D.C. Military Appreciation Day at Ravens Training Camp

In appreciation of our military the Baltimore Ravens are hosting an exclusive training camp practice on Monday, July 30th, 2018 at 8:45 AM. Open to active duty, retired, civilian service men and women as well as their families. Registration is required.

Veterans Curation Program Open House

The Alexandria Veterans Curation Program provides vocational rehabilitation and innovative training to recently separated veterans using archaeological collections administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Join them for an open house on July 31st from 10am - 2pm to learn more about the program.

Bmore Military Muster August 14th

Veterans from all eras and active duty are invited to Mission BBQ in Ellicott City for a meet up style event. Enjoy delicious BBQ and great company in a private dining room while meeting current and former service members throughout the area. August 14th @ 6:30pm. You'll also have a chance to learn about various organizations and resources that do great work in the area.

Martinsburg VA Mental Health Summit

This year's Martinsburg VA Medial Center Mental Health Summit will take place in Shepherdstown, WV on Tuesday, August 21 from 8:30am - 3:30pm. This is a free event and open to the public. RSVP required. There is also table space available to organizations who would like to display program information at the event.
