Caregiver Resources Lunch & Learn March 21st
Description
This workshop is part of the Maryland ‘s Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Network Lunch & Learn Series on suicide prevention and mental health. Please feel free to bring your lunch to the event.
March is Month of the Military Caregiver. This workshop will cover resources for individuals who are caring for military service members and veterans. Topics will also include warning signs that a military service member or veteran may be in crisis. A discussion of resources will include Coaching into Care, the VA Caregiver Support Program, as well as State and Nonprofit resources.

Learning Objectives
- Attendees will learn warning signs and symptoms that a military service member or veteran is in crisis.
- Attendees will learn about VA resources to assist in their support of a friend or loved one.
- Attendees will learn about State and Nonprofit resources to improve community engagement and overall wellness for military service members, veterans, and their families.
