In a recent DoD News article, First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated women Veterans. The article shares, "Many women who have served don’t self-identify as veterans, she said, and they thus miss out on benefits they have earned – only one in 10 take advantage of GI Bill benefits."

Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring announced a statewide initiative to provide free legal services to low-income veterans. The initiative will offer assistance with Wills, Power of Attorney, and Advanced Medical Directives
