Dog Tag Inc Fellowship Program Applications Being Accepted
The Dog Tag Inc. Fellowship works in partnership with Georgetown University to deliver a professional development program designed to prepare military veterans with service connected disabilities, spouses and caregivers to find success as they transition into the civilian workforce. Applications for the January 2018 fellowship program are being accepted now through October 18th.

Booz Allen Hamilton Networking Dinner will be held on Monday, October 16 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the USO on Fort Belvoir. Meet Booz Allen Hamilton representatives and learn about career opportunities. Listen as a Veteran currently working with Booz Allen Hamilton shares their insight and experience of the application and hiring process. Participants must have transitioned out of active duty service within the past 12 months, or are transitioning out of active duty service within the next 12 months. Space is limited and participants will be selected by lottery from registration list.

FREE CCNA Course for Transitioning Service Members – Applications Being Accepted
USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore is now accepting applications for our next CCNA course offered for transitioning service members. The course is offered November 7, 2017 through February 3, 2018, with classes held T/TH evening from 6:00pm - 9:30pm, and Saturday morning from 8:00am - 12:00pm at USO on Fort Belvoir. Applications must be completed and submitted by 3:00pm, Tuesday October 24. There will be no exceptions. Participants accepted in to the program will be notified on or about October 31.

We’ll have representatives from: Northern Virginia Technology Council / Veterans Employment Initiative, Virginia Employment Commission, Easter Seals Veteran Staff Network, Veterans Next Mission, USO Metro / Project Next S.T.E.P., and some Veteran Recruiters/Employers.
