Veterans Curation Program Open House

The Alexandria Veterans Curation Program provides vocational rehabilitation and innovative training to recently separated veterans using archaeological collections administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Join them for an open house on July 31st from 10am - 2pm to learn more about the program.

Martinsburg VA Mental Health Summit

This year's Martinsburg VA Medial Center Mental Health Summit will take place in Shepherdstown, WV on Tuesday, August 21 from 8:30am - 3:30pm. This is a free event and open to the public. Veterans Resource & Recognition Day in Frederick

Travis Manion Character Does Matter Presentation

Join The Travis Manion Foundation and The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals for an interactive discussion about character. Character Does Matter Mentors develop character and leadership skills in young adults. Grounded in the evidence-based field of Positive Psychology, they use a strengths-based approach to develop character traits in the next generation through a combination of informal discussions and activity-based learning. Virginia Women Veterans Summit

This event brings together veterans, community leaders, employers, and government agencies from the federal, state, and local levels to raise awareness about the services and benefits offered specifically for women veterans. The summit will also host exhibitors whose mission involves the wellness and wholeness of women veterans and feature notable presenters. June 14 & 15 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. Registration is required.
