NPR: Trouble Finding Housing

NPR shared a story December 23rd about the issues that many homeless veterans face when seeking housing. Even with a government funded housing voucher, many veterans have a difficult time identifying a landlord who will rent a unit to them.

HUD Reports Decline in Homelessness

On November 19th, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), released their '2015 Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) to Congress.' The report is based on the agency's annual Point-in-Time estimates that are conducted in January.
