Increasing Access to Employment & Community Support for our Military and Veteran Families

Monday, September 21, 10 am – 11 am

ServingTogether, a program of EveryMind and affiliated with AmericaServes – is a coordinated network of public, private and nonprofit organizations serving military, veterans, and their families in the National Capital Region. ServingTogether uses technology and its partner network to guide veterans, service members and their families to the most appropriate services and resources available. This overview will provide emphasis on employment, education and training opportunities available for military and veteran families to connect to through support from a Peer Navigator.

We’ll also introduce you to one of our partner organizations, IVMF’s Onward to Opportunity. Onward to Opportunity (O2O) is a free career training program that provides professional certification and employee support services to transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses. O2O combines industry-validated curricula, strong partnerships with leading veteran service organizations and private sector companies, and comprehensive career coaching services to prepare and match you with your next career.
