George C Marshall High School Veterans Day Field of Honor

George C Marshall High School will be putting together a Field of Honor for Veterans Day to honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. Military.

The students of the Class of 2019 started this tradition and have now passed the tradition on creating Memorial Day and Veterans Day Fields of Honor placing over 360 flags. It made quite a beautiful display for those who drove past the High School.

Area veterans are invited to attend the planting ceremony on Monday, November 11 from 9:45 am – 10:15 am.

They had a wonderful group of students placing the flags each time. They will also feature an Veteran Parent speaking at the ceremony and special guest playing the bagpipes. It is a great event for the students to pause and reflect on the service and dedication from our military and veterans.
