Happy Holidays from the team at ServingTogether. Here is a look back on a few of the things our program can celebrate from the work we’ve done this year. Thank you to all of our clients & network providers, community & funding partners for helping us make 2018 a great year!
- In 2018 we served 407 clients requesting assistance for over 887 unique needs including housing, employment, financial support, benefits navigation and more.
- We launched the ServingTogether America Services Provider Network in the National Capital Region which now includes more than 170 network users from 79 service providers allowing us to make more efficient and effective referrals and get our clients to the right provider in the right amount of time, the first time.
- Our staff provided Military and Veteran Mental Health First Aid to over 120 individuals working with and supporting military and veterans in our communities.
- Our team contributed to furthering education and connection in our communities by hosting a Veterans Housing Workshop in Fairfax, a Wounded Warrior Resource Fair at the Solider and Family Assistance Center at Fort Belvoir, 53 Community Veteran Collaborative meetings in DC, MD and Northern VA, a Housing Provider Focus Group, 4 ServingTogether Network Strategy Sessions and 2 Network Provider training sessions.
- We grew our program and expanded our reach to include Western MD, Southern MD, Prince George’s County and DC.
