Heroes on the Water George Washington Chapter – End of Season Float, Kayak and Camping Events
Heroes on the Water are getting to the end of the season and have a few events still open for participation and volunteer opportunities.
September 8 – Rappahannock River
Their float down the Rappahannock River, near Fredericksburg VA on September 8th is coming up quickly this weekend. They still have single kayaks available. Twin Junction Outfitters has graciously donated transportation and guidance for this float trip. They will meet at Motts Run Access near Fredericksburg at 7:30 am. Like many of their other floats, children (or adults for that matter) need to be able to be on the river for 4-5 hours. They are on the water for the duration. Exact timing is up to the fish and the river flow.
