Military Service: A Woman’s Perspective – April 5th

Presented by the Montgomery County Center for Continuous Learning and the Montgomery County Veterans Collaborative.

This course will present first-hand information on the experiences of women who have served in the military from the Vietnam Era to the Global War on Terror.  The program will highlight the challenges and experiences which are unique to women while serving, and the the difficulties often faced when reintegrating back to the community upon return from military service.

The program will include a panel discussion and Q&A with female veterans as well as presentations by Laura Copland, MS, LCMHC – PTSD Treatment Trainer for the Center for Deployment Psychology and April Thompson, LCSW, Faculty Member/CBT Trainer, Center for Deployment Psychology.
