MOVA Launches Pilot Transportation Program

The Mayor’s Office on Veterans Affairs (“MOVA”) is launching a pilot transportation program for District of Columbia (DC) veterans with the Department of For-Hire Vehicles. Program eligibility is restricted to veteran residents of Washington DC with an annual income of less than $30,000. Documentation evidencing eligibility may be requested by MOVA. The purpose of this program is to ensure that this population has access to the medical, educational, employment and other opportunities that they require. MOVA prohibits use of the Pilot Transportation Program service for any purpose that is not explicitly authorized by the Program terms and conditions.  For more information visit the MOVA website.
