ATTENTION FEMALE VETERANS! Duende can be defined as “a work of art’s mysterious power to deeply move a person.” In this spirit, we are running an 8 week, three hour, adjunctive art therapy group for 6-8 female veterans exploring identity and the authentic self through introspective layering themes of Duende process painting–all illustrated on one canvas.

These participants are seeking increased coping skills, resiliencies and self-esteem through creative expression with visual art processes and materials. The group is FREE for female veterans (active duty, retired, veteran, reservists). No previous art experience necessary and all materials are provided. Service dogs welcome.

*Eligible clients are higher functioning, emotionally stabilized (not in current crisis) and may have a primary psychotherapist. Contact me at yonseniawhite@workhousearts.org for more details and to schedule your pre-group interview by MON FEB 4TH.
