Our Team is Growing!
ServingTogether is pleased to announce that we have two new members to our growing team.
Meet our Northern Virginia Program Manager, Aimee Stoddard!
Aimee Stoddard has joined our team as the Northern Virginia Program Manager for ServingTogether, a program of EveryMind. Aimee’s professional career took a turn when she decided to change my career path from the cosmetic world to returning to college in her 30’s. Aimee received a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a focus on Addiction. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working as a Rehabilitation specialist on a forensic act team, supporting Military spouses seeking employment and now serving Veterans and Military Families in the Northern Virginia region. Aimee is passionate about serving our Veterans and Military families, as a military spouse for over 18 years, and she also has a long family history of family members that have served our country. Her drive is to provide support, resources, and solutions to a community that she is honored to serve.
Welcome our Intern Peer Navigator, Sam Cooper!
Sam Cooper is a graduate intern Peer Navigator at ServingTogether. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work at the University of Maryland Baltimore, and previously earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in American Studies and English Language and Literature at University of Maryland College Park. Before joining the ServingTogether team, Sam worked as a mentor and behavioral technician with children and young adults on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities. Passionate about service and supporting positive outcomes in human wellbeing, Sam seeks to infuse all of his work with a sense of compassion and humility that recognizes our fundamental connection with and responsibility to each other. Sam is also a community organizer and mindfulness meditation facilitator, and is interested in how collective consciousness change can help uproot some of our society’s deepest and most complex social justice problems.
