Serving Together Hiring NoVA Manager

MHA has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our Serving Together team as a Program Manager.

We are currently hiring for a Program Manager. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional, with a strong commitment to work with military, veterans, and community partners, to take the lead on the implementation and development of Serving Together in Northern Virginia (Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties) under supervision of the Serving Together Program Director. Program Manager will develop relationships with key stakeholders; coordinate meetings and briefings; identify needs and location(s) for peer navigation services; grow and implement community-based Collaboratives in the local jurisdictions; and lead the development of County-based and/or regional workshops for partners on topics relevant to providing quality services to the military and veteran community.  Program Manager will continue to work collaboratively with community partners (federal, state, local) to identify existing programs and organizations providing services and information to the military and veteran community to feed content to the Serving Together website.


Qualified applicants must possess familiarity with military or veteran’s services.  Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however education may be substituted for relevant military experience.  Veterans, transitioning military personnel, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Northern Virginia is required.  Experience with community outreach is a plus.  Strong communication, self-motivation, relationship building, and organizational skills required.  This position will be based out of Northern Virginia.
