Director, Serving Together

EveryMind, formerly Mental Health Association, has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to join our team as the Director for Serving Together. Serving Together coordinates resources and services for military, veterans, and their families throughout the DC region.


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional, with a strong commitment and passion to work with military, veterans, and their families. This position will take the lead on the implementation and development of Serving Together in the DC region under the direct supervision of EveryMind’s Division Director for Adult and Community Services. The Director is responsible for the overall implementation and administration of Serving Together, including regional growth and expansion. In addition, the Director will lead a team of dedicated staff and community partners to ensure military, veterans, and their families receive the services they need. Additional responsibilities include coordination and facilitation of meetings, resource coordination, and collaborating with key community partners to foster engagement.


Qualified applicants must possess familiarity with military and veteran services. Master’s degree is preferred but not required. Veterans, transitioning military personnel, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with services in the DC region is required. Experience with program administration, supervision, and programmatic growth and expansion is a plus. Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, self-motivation, relationship building, and organizational skills are required. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel throughout the DC region. The position is based out of Rockville, Maryland.
