ServingTogether has two exciting opportunities to help support our military, veterans and their families in the National Capital Region:
The Peer Navigator is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, and triaging clients (veterans, service members, and their family members or caretakers). The Peer Navigator identifies and provides information about and referrals to local, regional, and national resources and is knowledgeable on services available locally and regionally. Peer Navigator is responsible for collecting and compiling data reports on clients entered into the UniteUs software. Must have familiarity with military culture, structure, and services. This is a full time position located in Rockville, MD.
This individual is responsible for working collaboratively with community partners (federal, state, local) to identify existing programs and organizations providing services and information to the military and veteran community in the National Capital Region. The Manager will develop relationships with key stakeholders; coordinate meetings, forums, and briefings; help coordinate and oversee peer navigation services; coordinate community-based collaboratives, and engage existing and new service providers. This is a full time position. To be in close proximity to community partners, frequent travel to and from Montgomery and Frederick Counties will be required.
