VEI to Host Female VETWorking Seminar
The next award winning and highly praised VEI VETWORKING program is on 19 and 26 October 2016 (two parts) which is a signature education and mentoring program supporting transitioning military members, Veterans and military spouses entry into the civilian workforce. For this session- VEI has partnered with the Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) to tailor this unique program to the female transitioning military, female Veterans and female spouse community. This program is completely free and time tested and adds depth to what transitioning military members receive at TAP.
The MITRE corporation has been running this program for several years and the success stories of the preparation of our Vets, transitioning service members and military spouses to interact with recruiters is overwhelmingly positive. This is a focused program to give attendees the preparation and confidence to face the civilian interview process. Please note that this is a two part formal classroom program (two- 3 and 1/2 hour sessions) for only 20 Vets per cohort that includes an assigned mentor to act as a resource and support system. The Vet must commit to both sessions as significant resources are donated and engaged to make this great program happen.
The deadline for signups is 30 September 2016 on the NVTC Events website: VEI Female Vetworking cohort.
