The Committee on The Well-being of Military Families will hold a public information-gathering session on April 24, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the National Academy of Sciences Building (Auditorium), 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, in Washington, DC. The committee is studying the challenges and opportunities facing military families and what is known about effective strategies for supporting and protecting military children and families, as well as lessons to be learned from these experiences.

During this half day meeting, the committee will have the opportunity to hear from invited speakers and members of the public will also have an opportunity to ask questions or provide comments to the speakers and committee, as time permits.

This meeting is free and open to the public; however, in-person registration will close on Thursday, April 19, 2018, so make sure to register early. For those unable to attend this meeting in person, webcasting will be available on this page the day of the event. Registration is now open to attend the information-gathering session in-person or to participate in the live webcast.
