VVA 227 Seeking Garment Donation

Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 227, is collecting brassieres to be made available to homeless female veterans who attend the Winterhaven 2016 event at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC on January 23, 2016.

For the past few years, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 227, has been staffing the women’s clothing service at the event.  Through that experience they have become aware that brassieres are one item that is difficult for these women to obtain.

Brassieres should be sent to Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 227, P.O. Box 5653, Arlington, VA 22205-0653. They are a 501(c)(19) organization, which means that donations of money or in-kind are tax deductible.
