The first meeting of the new year is here, this is what we have lined up for the meeting:
Team Rubicon
Krysti Corbett, Northern Virginia Beltway City Coordinator for Team Rubicon will be presenting about the work their team do utilizing the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. Founded in 2010, Team Rubicon has deployed across the United States and around the world to provide immediate relief to those impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises.
ServingTogether
We also have a few updates to share to you, including the soft-launch of the AmericaServes network in the National Capital Region, our updated website, and some exciting events we are planning for the Spring!
Military Member and Veteran Needs
Feel free to also come to the meeting and share any military member or veteran needs you might need assistance with. Utilize members of the collaborative to help with issues you are trying to solve with military, veterans and their families you might be working with!
