Informal meetings with community partners are called Collaboratives. ServingTogether hosts collaborative meetings in a variety of locations throughout the National Capital Region. Resources, events, and information are shared to broaden the knowledge and understanding of available support. All are welcome to participate.
Here’s what we have lined up for this meeting:
Be Creative Consulting, LLC
Betsy Eves, CEO & Founder of Be Creative Consulting, LLC – a marketing & communications firm that focuses on helping military non-profits in our community – will be in attendance and speaking about some of the projects she’s been working on the past several months. Betsy has recently launched a day of leadership development for Military Spouses in early April titled BOOST that was held at the USO on Fort Belvoir and will provide a snapshot of how that event went and her future plans for the program. She was also recently involved with the Military & Veteran Caregiver Roundtable with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and the Washington DC Mayor’s Office of Veteran’s Affairs that happened on May 22 and will share the impact she hopes that event will have on our local community as well as what’s happening next. Finally, Betsy is also the President of the Dog Tag Inc. Alumni Association and she’ll brief us on what Dog Tag is up to lately and how they’re supporting our military community. We look forward to hearing more about how these events are helping our area military and veteran families.
Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic
Brenda Campbell will also be in attendance to speak about the launch of their telehealth services for our veterans and their families in the National Capital Region. They have also opened an intake clinic on Fort Belvoir on Fridays.
