Southern Maryland Veterans Empowerment Expo

Join us for a day dedicated to supporting and celebrating service members, veterans and their families!

This empowering event will feature a variety of local providers ready to address needs: from behavioral health, to employment, housing and beyond. Attendees can:

• Explore resources to provide assistance, enrich well-being and strengthen community connections.
• Get your benefits sorted through a VA claims clinic held by DAV Chapter 26. Bring your relevant documents to get help applying for what you’ve earned.
• Engage in therapeutic activities designed to foster resilience and joy.
• Enjoy delicious food and great company while connecting with peers and providers. At noon, the first 200 people will be given a free lunch to take with them. We’ll have coffee, water and snacks available throughout the day.
• Partake in multiple raffles for chances to win valuable products and prizes.
