Wills for Heroes Event
Saturday, November 17, 2018, lawyers will be at the American Legion, 6900 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770, conducting the Wills for Heroes program for veterans and their spouses/domestic partners.
Volunteer lawyers will be available for one (1) hour appointments starting at 10:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm. At the conclusion, you will have notarized legal documents to take home with you.
The Maryland State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, as an affiliate of the Wills for Heroes Foundation, and in cooperation with the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, is proud to sponsor the Wills for Heroes program. Wills for Heroes is a free and easy service that provides Wills, Health Care and Financial Powers of Attorney to first-responders and their spouses, and in this instance, veterans. For your family’s peace of mind, please consider this invaluable opportunity, offered completely free to you and your spouse/domestic partner. Undoubtedly, your loved ones’ grief will be overwhelming; a clear expression of your intent, desires, and wishes may help ease some of this inevitable burden.

- Name of Spouse (although spouses may meet with the attorney together, a “separate” consecutive appointment block is required for each individual to make sure enough time is allocated for the attorney to prepare documents for both individuals)
